Motioncore is for you. We'd venture to say that it was built by people very much like you; creators, info sifters, chatty commenters, gadget junkies, mobilizers, graphics egg-heads, word smiths, theater devotees, instigators, code sharks, super consumers, shape shifters, giddy gossipers, pixel pushers, thespians, idea tossers, intellectual cheerleaders, candy machine fetishists and "We Are the Champions" bleacher-stompers.
Motioncore recently celebrated our 4th birthday here in sunny, Southern California. In these formative years we have followed our interests which include the important dry stuff like management and operations --positions typically linked with gray suits and gray hair. But, we also enjoy, what the silver foxes might call 'having too much fun' like: writing, technology development and design. For us being "talented" is a given but we don't want to skimp on the social side either.
If you are looking to come play in our sandbox, feel free to get in touch. Also, if you are a student and want to intern or just want some tips on how to kick some real serious a55, let us know. Got a warn you though. We can be a tough bunch. We really buy into all that motivational speaker whatchamacallit about innovation and shipping real products. We're all about the "giddy-up" and the "go-go-go!" Pitch a mediocre product to us and most likely we'll turn it into a paper plane and make absurd faces before we launch it off the roof top. But really, we're all about the love. We just need you to be fearless and willing to work outside your comfort zone.

Founder Baris Tansel, an industrial designer by trade and a futurist at heart, combined elements of leading edge on-line technologies to build a new kind of connection engine. He saw that it no longer matters where you live or what time of day it is. If you want to connect with another person or group you can. It's a snap. And access to information has never been as easy as it is now. The challenge, however, is bringing it all together. So he rolled up his sleeves and created a communication platform from the ground up.
Using the Motioncore platform you can connect, share and collaborate with people in a way that is useful, efficient and fun. Now you can take social networking to the next level. It's not just about finding old classmates or tracking your friends and acquaintances –not that there's anything wrong with that. Motioncore was founded in 2006 in Beverly Hills, Calif., and is a privately funded.The Motioncore communication platform is an on-line service that enables you to share and store information in a protected "cloud” so that you can access your photos, videos, music, documents no matter where you are. This platform also allows you to keep a bird's eye view on everything you care about; your friends, family, teammates, news, gossip even your plants (seriously). It is a revolutionary way to connect and stay in-touch with everybody and everything that matters to you.
Where did you get the idea for Motioncore?
Motioncore was born out of dissatisfaction. In 2006 founder, BarisTansel saw that keeping any group of people, large or small, up-to-date on any project's status, steals time away from the good stuff resulting in needless delays and confusion. In other words. He wanted a way to see and communicate with everything from a kind of aerial perspective.
As a designer Tansel constantly works with others; designers, directors, writers, photographers, filmmakers --you name it. Everyone's spread out across town, the country and the world. Fed-up with juggling phone calls, emails, schedules and documents saved as various file types, shapes and sizes, he decided there had to be a better way to stay connected with everyone.
He knew that staying in touch with the people that matter to you is something important on a larger scale and affects everyone's life. It does not matter if you are building the next great art museum, designing a product, writing a script, putting together a slide show, or inviting friends over to play Scattergories --thanks to cloud computing, faster chip sets and a bazillion other tech improvements, collaboration and distribution no longer has to be disjointed or chaotic.
Why Motioncore?
Because the Internet is undergoing a steady transformation from search to social. We're going from hunting and pecking our way to information, stats and weird factoids to getting and giving referrals to family, friends and friends of friends. If my wardrobe did that I would be quickly suffocated under a heavy mound of jeans, t-shirts and black cardigans.
