My Places
At the top of the page on the right hand side, pull down the menu.  You will see a link that says "My Places".  Move your mouse/cursor to this link.  You are going to see another set of links that says "My Community".  In addition to that, if you are a member of another community, you will see those communities listed here.

My Places > My Community
My Community belongs to you.  Here in this section, you can add any applications you desire.  If you prefer you can build and expand your community.

My Community has two sections.  Public Pages, where everyone can see your content.  In addition to that, you have Private Pages that only you can see.

Communicate With Family And Friends
You want to communicate with like minded individuals on the fly.  Your profile allows you to tap your network and the things that matter to you.  You can view everything in one single shot.  You litteraly see what is going on with your community, and other communities that matters to you.  In addition to that, by creating shortcut to other sites, you can visit your favorite sites right a way from your profile.  As soon as you login, all your favorite sites updated information is listed on your profile.  Furthermore, you can share your content all across the web.  When you update content in your profile, you have a chance to multi-broadcast as soon as you publish.

My Community
  Public Pages - Anyone that you give permission can see the content on these pages.
  Private Pages - Only you are able to see this content.

Your Networks
Right under "My Community", you will see other networks listed. These are other communities that you are a member of.  You can only view ten communities at a time.  If you know you are a member of one community, and you dont see it listed here.  Then, you need to unsubscribe from one of the communities to be able to see it here.
